scenic travels

After we left Trillium Lake, we went over Mt. Hood, and turned onto Hwy 216 to 197 to The Dalles. Years ago, I'd taken part of this route (from The Dalles to Tygh Valley) during a snowstorm, and had promised myself I'd come back, as there are tons of old barns along this route.

Funny thing is, all the barns pictured were on 216, I think we only found one on 197, not sure if I missed them, or they all fell down :)
