well, better late than never, I'm finally joining the bloggers!

I guess I'll start at the beginning of my new life, I'll try to keep this in one paragraph :)

Mar 07, my hubby of 19yrs passed from Primary CNS Lymphoma (brain tumors), this tragedy spurred me to leap from part time professional photographer to full time. In the fall of 08 I separated from my full time day job, taking that leap of faith ... well, within weeks of the separation, the economy began to tank ... yep, great timing!! Dec 08 we finally moved into our new 2000 sq ft studio near OMSI & I was looking forward to a great family/holiday portrait season in my new studio, then Portland had 2 weeks of snow in the weeks preceeding Christmas, yep, tons of cancellations ... oh well, that's life

09 is beginning slowly, but with Valentine's Day around the corner, I find myself busy with Boudoir sessions and a few other shoots ... now here we are, at my new blog
